There are some simple things you can do to stop your hemroids from itching. If the problem has advanced, you’ll need to take some more serious action.

1) Try to avoid pushing or straining while having a bowel movement. Constipation can also make your hemorrhoids worse, and itch more. Drinking a lot of water and eating foods high in fiber will also help reduce the symptoms.

2) Whatever you do, don’t scratch. Most hemorrhoids will itch. Sometimes scratching them directly will momentarily remove the itchiness. Refrain from scratching because the consequences can be serious. It is easy to hurt or damage the thin walls of these veins and you can cause strangulation which will make your problem much more painful.

3) Clean Yourself Very Carefully
After finishing your bowel movement it is important to be gentle and thorough. Splurge a little and upgrade to a gentler toilet paper. Some toilet paper contains chemicals that can irate your condition. Stay away from scented, colored toilet paper.

Creams And Home Remedies
There are a lot of creams, potions and lotions that are being sold as cures for hemroids. Most of these contain an ingredient to reduce the swelling, and anesthetic to deal with the itching and pain, and a few other ingredients to help the problem. There are also many home remedies such as applications of witch hazel.

There is also prescriptions drugs that you can be prescribed for, and even surgery if the problem persists.

A Bath With Epson Salts
This bath (sometimes called a sitz bath) is a method where you immerse your rectum into warm water with some Epson salts. The warm water will increase the blood flow and temporarily remove some of the irritating symptoms.

What If A Large Hemorrhoid Pops Out?

If you find yourself in a situation where something feels like it has fallen out of anus, push it back inside. This does happen occasionally and many people are reluctant to do anything. Leaving it out can lead to strangulation which would be much more serious. It is advisable to push it back inside and them deal with the overriding issue.

If you are looking for my recommendation for treating hemorrhoids I’m currently testing and getting great results using Venapro
